To promote a positive academic atmosphere and foster a strong culture of technological innovation, after careful consideration, we have decided to hold the First Freshman Programming Contest of the School of Computer and Information Science (Artificial Intelligence College). The relevant details are notified as follows:

Scope of Participants:

All freshmen of the undergraduate class of 2023 of the School of Computer and Information Science (Artificial Intelligence College).

Competition Format:

Individual participation, conducted on computers. The competition consists of 7 programming tasks, with a duration of 5 hours. Participants are required to complete the tasks within the designated time. Rankings will be based on the number of problems solved, time taken, and penalties for incorrect submissions. The programming language is C/C++.

Competition Schedule:

1.Registration Period: December 21, 2023, to December 24, 2023.

2.Registration Method: Click the following link to register: Registration Link, and join the notification QQ group: 838431973, with the remark: Student ID - Name - Class.

3.Competition Date and Venue: To be notified separately within the QQ group. If the number of registrations exceeds capacity, a preliminary online round may be organized to select students for the on-site competition.

Prize Setting:

The contest will award several first, second, and third prizes. The competition results will be recorded in the "Technological Innovation" module of the Second Classroom transcript.
